Lake of the Woods Fishing Report 3.8.2013
Fishing has been really good for the last two weeks. Still fishing 36' OW in the sandy shore/ birch beach area. Consistent Warm weather and a recent bug hatch has made for a great walleye/ sauger/ perch bite. The walleye seem to be getting into a pre- spawn stage; intern creating a more aggressive consistent bite. Good jigs have ranged from the plane red/gold hook to jigging spoons. Blue, gold, and green have been good colors with jigs and spoons with a slender profile being about the best. Spring is finally upon us and the bite starting to reflect. Happy fishing!

Using the plowed road systems at Morris Point Lake View Lodge to access your house, it gives you the opportunity to step from a warm vehicle to a warm house. This also gives you the option to access shore at will for Food, Drinks, etc.
Our houses are checked on multiple times daily for your convenience - whether you need bait, fishing tips, or something from the shore we will be there for you!
